Mitt's Bitches

Did you see the part in the debate last night where Mitt Romney refused to endorse equal pay protections but said that women needed to get home early to cook dinner?

Or the part where he blamed single mothers for gun violence?

Or when he said there weren't enough qualified women to serve in his cabinet so he had to have his staff go out and create a "binder full of women?" (A story that actually isn't even true.)

Or when he lied about birth control--when the truth is that he thinks employers should be able to take contraception coverage away from women?

And, did you see the poll numbers that show Romney gaining support among women voters in...wait for it...here it comes...FLORIDA!???

    1. I have got to say that I was a little hesitant publishing that comment from Anonymous. I am not sure whether or not he (or she) is joking. What really scares the crap out of me is the thought that this is a serious comment from a real person.

Anonymous is either a Democrat with a sense of humor or a Christian conservative tea bagging Republican.

I think I need a drink to steady my nerves.

Thanks for commenting, whoever you are.

    2. He's a douche and I can't believe any self-respecting woman would give him her vote. Maybe being paid only 70% of what men earn is what has seemingly made so many here in Florida have an apparent drop in self-esteem.

I think Anonymous was being funny and ironic, btw. ;)

  2. Hi Sweet Polly,

I've got a sinking feeling this douche is going to be our next president - not because he is qualified in any way to lead this country, but rather because Obama is sorta black. Too many people in this country hate him because of that, in spite of the fact that he has done a decent job given all of the road blocks the Republicans have thrown in his path.

I think if a white democrat were living in our lily White House, there wouldn't be anywhere near the angst. It is a sad commentary on America that so many people are willing to vote against their own best interests over what should be a non issue.

Of course, I could be wrong.

Thanks for your comment my friend.

  3. I don't know, Jon. I think a lot of Obama supporters just keep their leanings more quiet than the Conservatives because because of their (many of them, NOT all of them) high levels of vitriol and general batcrapcrazy-ishness. I would honestly be afraid to put an Obama sign on my car or in my yard.

    1. I feel the same way about an open display of my political leanings. We have one of those batcrapcrazies with a teabagger flag flying high from a pole just down the street.

Him, I am not concerned with. I can keep an eye out for him. It's the ones that slime up on you like those damn slugs that keep snacking in my veggie garden.

We can only hope for an Obama win. Maybe that would shut these assholes up for a couple of years.
