Enriching Lives Everywhere

Somewhere back in the mists of time I seem to recall that my plan for the Oracle was to be a vehicle that presents to the world an intellectual take on our social environment. The concept was to present to my readers ideas, suggestions, and startling prophecies that would enrich their lives beyond measure.

To give you an idea of how well that has worked out I shall share with you a true tale.

A young gentleman, who shall remain nameless, was reminiscing about past journeys he had taken via the miracle of lysergic acid diethylamide. He was aware that on past journeys, or trips if you prefer, that he had experienced life changing epiphanies so astounding that if manifested would alter the world forever, enriching lives everywhere.

The problem with these sudden revelations was that the young man could not remember them after he came down, or rather returned from his journey. To correct this problem he decided to keep a pencil and paper, or journal, handy before his next departure. This he did, and he did record for posterity these words, "This room smells funny."

And, so it is with the Oracle.

Your lives have been enriched and you are welcome.

Thanks to the Belle of Ballast Point for the photo.
